The impact reaches far beyond just the individual

“Shawn is someone who has spent years encouraging and supporting others. Seeing people now rally around him is a reflection of the impact he has had on those around him.”

I am writing this on behalf of my dear mentor, Shawn Willis.

I have had the privilege of knowing Shawn through the Chick-fil-A community, where leadership is measured by how you serve and invest in others. Shawn has always been someone who shows up for people with encouragement, faith, and a genuine desire to help others grow. He brings a positive presence wherever he goes and has consistently been someone who lifts others up.

Over the past few years, Shawn has been open about the health challenges he has faced. Despite those challenges, he continues to approach life with resilience and gratitude. During the time he has had access to Bitopertin, the improvement in his quality of life has been meaningful. It has allowed him to continue pursuing his goals, maintaining relationships, and living his life with the same sense of purpose that has always defined him.

When treatments like this make a real difference in someone’s day-to-day life, the impact reaches far beyond just the individual. It affects families, friends, coworkers, and entire communities who care about that person and want to see them continue to thrive.
